our story
Stein Haus is a longtime eating and drinking establishment in the small town of Vermillion, MN. An easy drive south of St. Paul, Stein Haus is located just a few miles off Highway 52. For over 50 years, Stein Haus has been home to good food, good friends, and good times.

The best fish fry…ever!!! The fish tasted fresh and it was crispy. The pieces are small, but they pack a punch. The accompaniments were French fries, baked beans, coleslaw and a couple of slices of garlic bread. The wait staff was courteous and prompt. Overall, it was a great experience.

What a wonderful afternoon stop. Wish we had time for lunch. The barbeque baby back ribs looked wonderful. Bartender was so nice and tender to our gathering of family for services in am. So nice these days to have someone so caring who really does not know us except for stopping for a break in traveling.
